On my way home from a doctor appointment we popped in to get a sweet treat.  At first I thought it was going to be really small inside, but when I walked in I was surprised how big it was. There was a lot of seating inside and out.  The best part was that the desserts went on and on. There were soooooo many to choose from I picked the one with the fresh strawberries.

I think the strawberries tasted like they had preservatives, and the pastry was a bit too chewy. Overall it was pretty good and I’ll definitely go back to try more of the desserts.

Whoopie Pie

This is the first whoopie pie I’ve ever had.  I thought it was a very good cookie. It had the perfect consistency (right amount of crunch and chewiness). The filling was soft and yummy.

I recently visited Ghirardelli Square with my mom, dad and cousin during an adventure day in San Francisco. Even though it was a really chilly day, I was still craving ice cream.

I think the ice cream had a good consistency, however the brownie was a little too soft and the whipped cream was not sweet enough.

All in all it was still a good dessert and I think it’s worth the visit.
